Ideal Canopy was founded by Raj Jhand in the fall of 1996.

In the beginning, he operated the company with single employee assisting in the fabrication of a variety of camping supplies in the back of a small suburban Vancouver workshop. Our attention to the smallest details and hands on approach hasn’t wavered in 13 years.

Today, Ideal Canopy employs a staff of more than 20+ people to build North America’s finest engineered temporary shelters and tents.
